In September 2024, the location was affected by flooding, when the water level reached approximately 2.5 m height and above. The family house building is in a state for demolition, a similar condition is expected for the warehouse building. After the floods, no steps were taken to remove damages and consequences, except for clearing the interior of the family house.

Utilities: the complex has water supply, electricity, stormwater and sewage drainage systems installed, reinforced surfaces, fencing with a concrete fence (except the street part). The complex is connected to the public water supply on Na Lánech street, to sewage and electricity lines located in Bartošova street. The buildings on the plots are/will be connected to the complex's utilities.

Access to the real estate is on the eastern side from the public road Bartošova street on plot no. 484/1 owned by SM Ostrava. The complex is located on the border of residential development and a garage complex. The district administrative center with the municipal office is within walking distance, the bus stop is about 500 m away, city center accessibility is about 5 km. The location is well accessible by public transport, railway, and car, with connection to the main road 28. října.

Flood zone, zoning plan, land price map: the location was repeatedly affected by floods in 1997 and 2024. According to the Povodí Odry report, the breached dam has been repaired and reinforced. For insurance risk purposes, the plots are in zone RZP 2 (status before 09/2024), after repair the classification in zone RZP 2 is expected to be maintained. According to the Ostrava city zoning plan, the plots are designated as BI – residential areas for family houses, in redevelopment area PŘ 19.
